The Mechatronics Engineer shall be responsible for the design, integration, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of automated production lines, robotic systems, and embedded control units that form the core of our operations in South Africa Cape Town.

The scope of work under this Purchase Order encompasses the following deliverables to be executed within the South Africa Cape Town metropolitan area:

• Design and development of PLC-based control systems for three (3) automated assembly lines at the Woodstock facility, South Africa Cape Town.
• Integration of servo-driven robotic arms with vision-based quality inspection modules, requiring advanced Mechatronics Engineer expertise in both mechanical and electrical subsystems.
• Programming and configuration of HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panels and SCADA supervisory systems for real-time monitoring of production KPIs.
• Conducting a full systems audit of the existing pneumatic and hydraulic infrastructure at the Cape Town site, producing a remediation report within fourteen (14) calendar days of commencement.
• Providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting for a minimum of twelve (12) hours per week throughout the contract period, based at the South Africa Cape Town premises.
• Delivery of comprehensive technical documentation, including P&ID drawings, wiring schematics, and as-built drawings, in both PDF and editable CAD formats.

1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Atlantic Automation & Industrial Solutions (Pty) Ltd and Integra Mechatronics & Engineering Services (Pty) Ltd upon signature by both parties. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications outlined herein and applicable South African engineering standards (SANS).
2. The Mechatronics Engineer and all supporting personnel assigned to this contract must hold valid professional registrations with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and possess a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in industrial mechatronics, automation, and control systems engineering.
3. All services shall be rendered at the buyer's facility in South Africa Cape Town (Woodstock, 7925) unless otherwise agreed in writing. The supplier shall comply with all site safety protocols, including but not limited to OHS Act 85 of 1993 requirements.
4. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-CT-04871) to be processed.
5. The supplier warrants that all work performed by the Mechatronics Engineer shall be free from defects for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final commissioning and sign-off at the South Africa Cape Town site.
6. Intellectual property generated specifically for this engagement, including custom control logic, HMI layouts, and system architectures, shall vest in the buyer upon full payment.
7. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the buyer shall pay for all services rendered up to the date of termination.
8. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in South Africa Cape Town.
9. The supplier shall maintain comprehensive professional indemnity and public liability insurance with a minimum cover of ZAR 5,000,000 for the duration of the contract.
