This Purchase Order is issued by Lanka Industrial Automation Pvt. Ltd. for the engagement of a qualified Mechatronics Engineer to provide specialized technical services for the design, integration, commissioning, and maintenance of automated production lines at our manufacturing facility located in Sri Lanka Colombo. The Mechatronics Engineer shall be responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and software components of the automation system, ensuring seamless interoperability across all subsystems. The scope of work includes PLC programming, sensor calibration, robotic arm configuration, SCADA system deployment, and ongoing technical support for a period of twelve (12) months. All services shall be rendered on-site at the Colombo facility unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.

Acceptance: This Purchase Order becomes binding upon written acceptance by the Supplier within five (5) business days of the issue date. Failure to respond within this period shall be construed as rejection of this Purchase Order.
Scope of Work: The Mechatronics Engineer assigned under this Purchase Order shall possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution in Sri Lanka or abroad, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience in automation and robotics.
Performance Standards: All deliverables shall conform to the specifications outlined in Annexure A attached to this Purchase Order. The Mechatronics Engineer shall adhere to all applicable Sri Lankan industrial safety standards and the regulations of the Department of Industrial Safety, Sri Lanka Colombo.
Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three (3) equal installments: 30% upon commencement of work, 40% upon successful commissioning of the automated line, and 30% upon final acceptance and handover of all documentation. Payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Supplier.
Confidentiality: The Mechatronics Engineer and all personnel engaged under this Purchase Order shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding proprietary processes, designs, and operational data of the Buyer. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of three (3) years.
Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Supplier shall be compensated for all work completed and materials procured up to the date of termination.
Warranty: The Supplier warrants that all services rendered by the Mechatronics Engineer shall be free from defects in workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final acceptance. Any defects discovered within this warranty period shall be rectified at no additional cost to the Buyer.
Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or civil unrest affecting the Sri Lanka Colombo region.
Intellectual Property: All designs, programs, configurations, and documentation created specifically for the Buyer under this Purchase Order shall become the sole property of the Buyer upon full payment. The Mechatronics Engineer retains the right to use general methodologies and pre-existing tools not developed specifically for this engagement.
