- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the issuing party and the service provider for the engagement of the Medical Researcher in Qatar Doha. All terms herein shall be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar.
- The Medical Researcher shall possess a minimum of a Doctorate (Ph.D.) or equivalent in Medical Sciences, with a minimum of eight (8) years of post-doctoral research experience in oncology, genomics, or a closely related field.
- Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of invoice submission. All payments shall be made in Qatari Riyals (QAR) via bank transfer to the account designated by the service provider. The Purchase Order total of QAR 939,500.00 shall be disbursed in monthly installments corresponding to the professional fee and recurring allowances.
- The Medical Researcher shall be required to work a minimum of five (5) days per week at the QNRI facility in Qatar Doha, with a standard working week of 40 hours. Overtime, if required for critical research milestones, shall be compensated at 1.5 times the standard hourly rate.
- All research data, publications, and intellectual property generated during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the sole property of the Qatar National Research Institute. The Medical Researcher shall sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) prior to commencing work in Qatar Doha.
- The service provider shall ensure that the Medical Researcher holds a valid Qatar work permit and residence visa prior to the commencement date. All visa processing costs are included in Line Item 05 of this Purchase Order.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of early termination, the service provider shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date, plus a pro-rata portion of the relocation fees.
- The Medical Researcher shall comply with all institutional research ethics protocols, Qatar's Ministry of Public Health regulations, and the QNRI internal code of conduct for research personnel operating in Qatar Doha.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Doha, Qatar, in accordance with the Qatar Arbitration Law. The language of arbitration shall be English.
- This Purchase Order is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. If not accepted and countersigned within this period, the Purchase Order shall automatically lapse and require reissuance.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and line items specified in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Medical Researcher in Qatar Doha. This document, once executed, shall serve as the primary reference for all procurement, financial, and operational matters related to this engagement.
