Terms & Conditions of This Purchase Order

• Delivery: All items under this Purchase Order must be delivered to the National Institute of Medical Research premises in Sri Lanka Colombo within 30 calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. The supplier is responsible for safe transport, installation, and calibration of all equipment at the Sri Lanka Colombo facility.
• Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within 45 days of receipt of a valid tax invoice and successful inspection of all delivered goods. Payment will be processed via bank transfer to the account specified above. The Medical Researcher's department will confirm acceptance in writing before the invoice is forwarded to the finance office.
• Warranty: All equipment must carry a minimum 24-month manufacturer's warranty. The supplier shall provide on-site technical support in Sri Lanka Colombo for the duration of the warranty period. Spare parts availability must be guaranteed for a minimum of 5 years.
• Quality Assurance: All reagents and consumables must comply with Sri Lankan Standards Institution (SLS) regulations and be approved by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution. The Medical Researcher reserves the right to reject any item that does not meet the specified quality parameters or regulatory requirements for use in Sri Lanka Colombo.
• Regulatory Compliance: The supplier acknowledges that all biological safety equipment and laboratory instruments are subject to the regulations of the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka. Import permits, where applicable, are the responsibility of the supplier. All documentation must be submitted to the Medical Researcher's office in Sri Lanka Colombo prior to delivery.
• Intellectual Property: All data generated using the procured equipment by the Medical Researcher belongs exclusively to the National Institute of Medical Research, Sri Lanka Colombo. The supplier shall not claim any rights over research outputs.
• Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka. The governing law shall be the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
• Cancellation: This Purchase Order may be cancelled or amended in writing by either party with a minimum 14-day notice. In the event of cancellation, the supplier shall be compensated for non-cancellable costs incurred up to the date of cancellation.
