NOTE: All equipment listed in this Purchase Order is specifically procured to support the ongoing Hepatitis B Seroepidemiological Study conducted by the Medical Researcher team at the Al-Nil Medical Research Institute, Sudan Khartoum. Items must comply with the Sudanese Ministry of Health laboratory standards and WHO biosafety guidelines. The Medical Researcher principal investigator, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim El-Siddig, has approved all specifications. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. Delivery: The supplier shall deliver all items listed in this Purchase Order to the Al-Nil Medical Research Institute premises located at 12 El-Mahdi Street, Omdurman District, Sudan Khartoum, no later than 05 August 2025. Delivery shall be made between 08:00 and 16:00 local time (CAT, UTC+2).
  2. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within 30 days of confirmed receipt and successful installation of all equipment. A 10% advance payment (4,189,000 SDG) shall be released upon signing of this Purchase Order. The remaining 90% shall be paid upon final acceptance by the Medical Researcher project team.
  3. Warranty: All laboratory instruments shall carry a minimum 24-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of installation in Sudan Khartoum. The supplier shall provide on-site repair or replacement within 72 hours of a reported malfunction.
  4. Quality Assurance: All reagents and consumables must be within 80% of their shelf life at the time of delivery. The Medical Researcher team reserves the right to reject any batch that does not meet the specified quality parameters outlined in the project protocol.
  5. Compliance: The supplier warrants that all items comply with the regulations of the Sudanese Ministry of Health, the National Food and Drug Authority (NFDA) of Sudan, and applicable international biosafety standards. Import permits for Sudan Khartoum customs clearance shall be arranged by the supplier at no additional cost.
  6. Training: As part of this Purchase Order, the supplier shall provide a minimum of two (2) full days of hands-on training for the Medical Researcher staff and laboratory technicians at the Sudan Khartoum facility. Training materials in both Arabic and English shall be provided.
  7. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to port closures at Port Sudan, national emergencies, or government-mandated restrictions affecting the Republic of Sudan.
  8. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Sudan. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts in Khartoum, Sudan.
  9. Confidentiality: The supplier acknowledges that this Purchase Order is linked to a sensitive medical research project. No information regarding the research protocols, sample data, or the identities of the Medical Researcher team members shall be disclosed to any third party without written consent from the Institute Director.
