Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is issued by Dr. Eleanor M. Whitfield, a Medical Researcher based in United Kingdom Birmingham, and constitutes a binding agreement upon acceptance by the supplier. All goods and services shall be delivered to the University of Birmingham, Edgbaston Campus, Birmingham B15 2TT, United Kingdom.
- Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of invoice. Payment shall be made via BACS bank transfer to the account details provided by Meridian Scientific Supplies Ltd. The Medical Researcher's department will process payment through the University of Birmingham's central accounts office.
- All equipment must comply with the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations and the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) guidelines applicable to research conducted in United Kingdom Birmingham laboratories.
- The supplier warrants that all items listed in this Purchase Order are new, unused, and free from defects. A minimum 24-month manufacturer's warranty is included on all capital equipment.
- Delivery is to be made to the specified address in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and risk of loss until the goods are received and signed for by the Medical Researcher or their authorised delegate at the Birmingham facility.
- Any changes to this Purchase Order, including modifications to quantities, specifications, or delivery schedules, must be agreed in writing by both the Medical Researcher and the supplier prior to execution.
