This Purchase Order is issued by the Agência Nacional de Meteorologia e Clima (ANMC) to formally engage the services of a qualified Meteorologist for the provision of specialized atmospheric analysis, seasonal forecasting, and climate advisory services to be rendered in Brazil Brasília, the Federal District. All invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (ANMC-2025-00487) and must be submitted to the ANMC Finance Department in Brazil Brasília no later than the 28th of the preceding month. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1% per month as stipulated by Brazilian commercial law (Código Civil, Art. 406).

• 6.1 – The Meteorologist shall maintain valid professional registration with CREA-DF throughout the duration of this Purchase Order and shall provide proof of registration upon request.
• 6.2 – All meteorological data, forecasts, and reports produced under this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive intellectual property of ANMC upon full payment. The Meteorologist retains the right to reference the work in academic publications with prior written consent.
• 6.3 – The Meteorologist shall comply with all data protection regulations under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Lei nº 13.709/2018) when handling any personal or sensitive meteorological data collected in Brazil Brasília.
• 6.4 – This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Brasília, DF, Brazil.
• 6.5 – The Meteorologist shall provide a minimum of 48 hours' written notice before any absence from scheduled on-site duties in Brazil Brasília. Failure to do so may result in a 5% deduction from the applicable installment.
• 6.6 – ANMC reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice in the event of sustained non-performance or breach of professional standards by the Meteorologist.
• 6.7 – All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be conducted in accordance with the technical guidelines issued by INMET and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) standards applicable to the Brasília region.

All physical deliverables, including printed reports, calibrated instruments, and training materials, shall be delivered to the ANMC headquarters at QI 07, Lote 1200, Asa Sul, Brazil Brasília, DF 70310-100. Digital deliverables shall be transmitted via the ANMC secure portal. The Meteorologist is expected to be physically present in Brazil Brasília for a minimum of 16 hours per week during the contracted period.
