This Purchase Order formally authorizes the procurement of specialized meteorological consulting services to be rendered by a qualified Meteorologist within the metropolitan area of Chile Santiago. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding contractual instrument between the Buyer and the Supplier for the duration and scope specified below.

- Professional Qualification: The Meteorologist named in this Purchase Order must maintain an active professional license issued by the Colegio de Meteorólogos de Chile and demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience in atmospheric science applied to the Chile Santiago region. Any lapse in licensure shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order.
- Delivery and Reporting: All meteorological reports, forecasts, and advisory documents produced under this Purchase Order shall be submitted in both Spanish and English, delivered electronically to the Buyer's designated inbox no later than 08:00 Chile Standard Time (CLT) on each business day.
- Compliance with Chilean Law: This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in the competent courts of Chile Santiago, Región Metropolitana.
- Confidentiality: The Meteorologist agrees to treat all municipal data, infrastructure plans, and emergency protocols accessed during the performance of this Purchase Order as strictly confidential. This obligation survives the expiration of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in monthly installments of CLP 1,804,166.67, due within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the corresponding invoice. The final payment, including the annual climate impact report fee, shall be due within fifteen (15) days of report acceptance.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of a declared state of meteorological emergency in Chile Santiago, the Buyer reserves the right to extend the engagement of the Meteorologist beyond the original term without additional procurement procedures.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to extraordinary meteorological events, natural disasters, or government-mandated closures affecting operations in Chile Santiago.
- Intellectual Property: All forecasts, models, and reports generated specifically for the Buyer under this Purchase Order shall become the property of the Municipalidad de Santiago upon full payment. The Meteorologist retains the right to publish anonymized aggregate data for academic purposes.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that this Purchase Order for Meteorologist services in Chile Santiago has been reviewed, understood, and accepted in full. This document, together with its attached terms, constitutes the complete and exclusive agreement between the parties regarding the procurement of meteorological consulting services described herein.
