This Purchase Order is issued by the Alexandria Meteorological & Environmental Services Directorate to formally engage the services of a qualified Meteorologist for the provision of comprehensive atmospheric monitoring, forecasting, and climate advisory services within the Egypt Alexandria metropolitan area and its surrounding coastal and inland zones. The Meteorologist shall be responsible for the following deliverables and professional obligations as outlined in this Purchase Order:

- Acceptance: This Purchase Order shall become a binding contractual agreement upon written acceptance and signature by both the Buyer and the Supplier. The Meteorologist must confirm acceptance within five (5) business days of the date of issue.
- Performance Period: The Meteorologist shall commence services no later than 1 July 2025 and shall continue to render all services specified herein through 31 December 2025, unless otherwise extended by mutual written agreement.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in monthly installments within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice and verified completion of the corresponding deliverables. All payments shall be processed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) via bank transfer to the account designated by the Meteorologist. A 2% late payment penalty shall apply to any overdue amounts.
- Quality and Compliance: The Meteorologist shall ensure that all forecasts, analyses, and reports comply with the standards set forth by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) guidelines. All data collected in Egypt Alexandria shall be maintained in accordance with Egyptian data protection regulations.
- Confidentiality: The Meteorologist agrees to treat all proprietary data, internal communications, and unpublished research materials of the Alexandria Meteorological & Environmental Services Directorate as strictly confidential. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of three (3) years.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of material breach, the non-breaching party may terminate immediately upon written notice. Upon termination, the Meteorologist shall deliver all completed work product and raw data pertaining to Egypt Alexandria operations.
- Insurance and Liability: The Meteorologist shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of EGP 1,000,000 for the duration of this engagement. The Meteorologist shall be solely responsible for any errors or omissions in forecasts or analyses that result in direct damages, except in cases of gross negligence by the Buyer.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved through the competent courts in Egypt Alexandria.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, or public health emergencies affecting Egypt Alexandria.
