- This Purchase Order is issued in accordance with the Egyptian Government Procurement Law No. 182 of 2018 and its implementing regulations. All services shall be rendered within the jurisdiction of the Arab Republic of Egypt, with primary operations based in Cairo.
- The Meteorologist (Dr. Amira Hassan El-Sayed) shall maintain valid professional licensure issued by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority throughout the entire contract period. Any lapse in licensure shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order.
- All meteorological data, forecasts, and technical reports produced under this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of the Nile Delta Agricultural & Environmental Authority and shall be stored at the Cairo headquarters facility.
- The Meteorologist shall comply with all data protection regulations as stipulated by the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 when handling any sensitive environmental or agricultural data collected in the Cairo region.
- Payment shall be processed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) via bank transfer within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the Central Bank of Egypt's base rate.
- The Meteorologist is required to submit a detailed work plan within fourteen (14) days of the service start date, outlining the schedule of field visits to the Cairo and Delta regions, report deadlines, and training session calendars.
- Any modification to the scope of meteorological services, change in service location within Egypt, or extension of the contract period must be documented in a written amendment signed by both parties and approved by the Cairo procurement office.
- In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to severe weather events that prevent field operations in Cairo or the Delta, the Meteorologist shall notify the Authority in writing within forty-eight (48) hours, and affected service dates shall be rescheduled at no additional cost.
- This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising herefrom shall be resolved through the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
- The Meteorologist shall carry professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of EGP 5,000,000, valid throughout the service period, naming the Authority as an additional insured party.
