- Scope of Engagement: The Meteorologist engaged under this Purchase Order shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences or Meteorology from an accredited Italian or European university, and must possess at least five (5) years of professional experience in operational meteorology, with a demonstrated track record of service delivery in the Italy Milan region or equivalent urban environments.
- Delivery Schedule: All daily weather bulletins must be submitted no later than 05:00 CET each working day. Seasonal reports and monthly analyses shall be delivered by the 5th business day of the following month. Emergency advisories for Italy Milan must be issued within thirty (30) minutes of the Meteorologist identifying a severe weather threshold.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made via bank transfer (bonifico bancario) within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice referencing this Purchase Order number (IT-MIL-2025-04872). Invoices must be issued in accordance with Italian electronic invoicing regulations (Fattura Elettronica – SDI).
- Performance Standards: The Meteorologist shall maintain a forecast accuracy rate of no less than 92% for 24-hour temperature and precipitation predictions for the Italy Milan metropolitan area, as verified by ARPA Lombardia quality assurance protocols.
- Confidentiality: All data, models, and proprietary methodologies shared under this Purchase Order shall be treated as confidential. The Meteorologist shall not disclose internal ARPA Lombardia data to third parties without written authorization.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Meteorologist shall complete all in-progress deliverables for Italy Milan and submit a final transition report within fifteen (15) days.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Italy Milan (Tribunale di Milano).
