Payment for the services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be made in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) via bank transfer to the account designated by the Meteorologist's registered company. Invoices shall be submitted at the end of each calendar month. Payment shall be processed within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of invoice receipt, subject to verification of deliverables by the Procurement Division. A late payment penalty of 2% per month shall apply to any outstanding balance exceeding the stipulated payment window. All payments are subject to the applicable Service Tax (SST) at the prevailing rate as mandated by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.

  • 5.1 The Meteorologist engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid professional registration with the Malaysian Meteorological Department and maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of MYR 2,000,000 for the duration of the contract.
  • 5.2 All meteorological data, forecasts, and analytical reports produced under this Purchase Order shall remain the intellectual property of the Malaysian Meteorological Services Procurement Division. The Meteorologist shall not disclose, publish, or distribute any proprietary data without prior written consent.
  • 5.3 The Meteorologist shall comply with all data protection requirements under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia, particularly when handling sensitive atmospheric observation data collected in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
  • 5.4 This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of termination, the Meteorologist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
  • 5.5 The Meteorologist shall attend all scheduled coordination meetings at the Menara MetMalaysia office in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur or participate via approved video conferencing platforms as directed by the Procurement Division.
  • 5.6 Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation under the Malaysian Mediation Centre, and failing resolution, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
  • 5.7 The Meteorologist shall adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols when conducting field observations or site inspections within the Malaysia Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area.

This Purchase Order constitutes a formal and binding procurement instrument. By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, scope of work, and financial obligations outlined in this document. The Meteorologist confirms acceptance of the engagement and commits to delivering all services in accordance with the professional standards expected of a certified atmospheric science practitioner operating in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
