- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Agence Météorologique du Sénégal and the named Meteorologist for the provision of services exclusively within the jurisdiction of Senegal Dakar and its immediate surrounding administrative regions.
- The Meteorologist shall comply with all national meteorological standards established by the Senegalese Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, as well as the operational protocols of the West African Sub-Commission for Desertification (CNS-CC).
- All forecasts, data analyses, and advisory reports produced under this Purchase Order shall be submitted in both French and English, reflecting the bilingual operational requirements of the Senegal Dakar metropolitan authority and international partners.
- Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Meteorologist within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Senegalese commercial law.
- The Meteorologist is required to maintain a minimum of 95% availability during the peak weather seasons (June through October for Atlantic systems; December through February for Harmattan events) to ensure uninterrupted service to Senegal Dakar.
- Confidentiality: All proprietary data, internal communications, and operational details shared under this Purchase Order shall remain strictly confidential. The Meteorologist shall not disclose sensitive meteorological intelligence to third parties without written authorization from the contracting authority in Senegal Dakar.
