This Purchase Order is issued by Northwest Weather Solutions Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Purchaser") to engage the services of a qualified Meteorologist (hereinafter referred to as "the Service Provider") for the provision of comprehensive meteorological consulting, forecasting, and atmospheric data analysis services. The Meteorologist shall deliver all professional services in accordance with the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order and in full compliance with the regulatory standards set forth by the Royal Meteorological Society and the United Kingdom Meteorological Office (Met Office) guidelines.
The engagement is specifically tailored to the geographical and climatic conditions of United Kingdom Manchester and the surrounding Greater Manchester metropolitan area. The Meteorologist shall account for the unique microclimatic characteristics of the Manchester region, including the influence of the Pennine foothills to the east, the urban heat island effect across the city centre, and the prevailing westerly and south-westerly wind patterns that affect precipitation and temperature variability in the area.

All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Payment shall be made via BACS bank transfer to the account details provided by the Meteorologist. Invoices are payable within 30 days of receipt.
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Northwest Weather Solutions Ltd. and the named Meteorologist upon signature by both parties. All services shall be rendered in the United Kingdom, with primary operational focus on the Manchester metropolitan area.
- The Meteorologist warrants that all forecasts, analyses, and advisory reports shall be produced in accordance with the professional standards of the Royal Meteorological Society and shall not constitute a guarantee of specific weather outcomes.
- The Service Provider shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of £5,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order. A certificate of insurance shall be provided prior to commencement of services.
- All data, reports, and analytical outputs produced under this Purchase Order shall remain the intellectual property of the Purchaser. The Meteorologist shall not disclose proprietary meteorological data to third parties without written consent.
- The Meteorologist shall comply with all applicable United Kingdom data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, in the handling of any personal or sensitive information encountered during the engagement.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the Purchaser shall be liable for services rendered up to the date of termination.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manchester, United Kingdom.
- The Meteorologist shall attend a minimum of two quarterly review meetings at the Purchaser's offices in Salford Quays, Manchester, to discuss service performance, forecast accuracy metrics, and any adjustments to the scope of work.
Services under this Purchase Order shall commence on 1 August 2025 and shall continue on a rolling 12-month basis unless terminated in accordance with Clause 5.6. The first monthly forecasting report for United Kingdom Manchester shall be delivered no later than 5 August 2025. Quarterly climate trend reports shall be delivered by the 15th of the month following the end of each calendar quarter. The Meteorologist shall ensure that all deliverables are submitted in both digital (PDF) and printed format to the Purchaser's designated project manager.
This Purchase Order is authorised and approved by the undersigned representatives of both parties. By signing below, each party acknowledges and agrees to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this document.
