- Scope of Work: The Meteorologist shall perform all duties within the jurisdictional boundaries of New York City, United States, as defined by the City Charter. All forecasts, advisories, and reports shall reference the specific geographic coordinates and elevation data pertinent to the five boroughs.
- Payment Terms: Net 30 days from the date of invoice submission. Payment shall be processed via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the account designated by Calloway Atmospheric Consulting LLC. Invoices must reference Purchase Order No. NYC-MET-2025-04871.
- Performance Period: Services shall commence on July 1, 2025, and conclude on September 30, 2025, coinciding with the peak Atlantic hurricane season affecting the New York City coastal region.
- Compliance: The Meteorologist shall comply with all applicable federal, state (New York State), and municipal regulations governing meteorological practice, including but not limited to the New York State Education Department professional licensing requirements and the Federal Communications Commission broadcast standards for weather-related public communications.
- Confidentiality: All proprietary data, municipal infrastructure schematics, and emergency response protocols shared with the Meteorologist shall remain strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without written authorization from the Buyer.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days written notice. In the event of a declared state of emergency in New York City, the Meteorologist shall remain on active duty until the emergency is formally lifted by the Mayor of New York City.
- Insurance: The Meteorologist shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000 per occurrence, naming the City of New York as an additional insured party.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York and the United States of America. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York City.
