1. Purpose and Scope of This Purchase Order

This Purchase Order is issued by the Golden Gate Environmental Monitoring Authority to formally procure the professional services of a Meteorologist for the San Francisco metropolitan region. 3. Terms and Conditions
  1. Service Location: All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be performed primarily at the Golden Gate Environmental Monitoring Authority headquarters in San Francisco, United States, or at such other locations within the San Francisco Bay Area as mutually agreed upon in writing.
  2. Professional Qualifications: The Meteorologist shall maintain active professional certification through the American Meteorological Society and hold a valid California professional license throughout the entire term of this Purchase Order. Failure to maintain these credentials shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order.
  3. Payment Terms: Payment for services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be made net thirty (30) days from the date of invoice submission. Invoices shall be submitted monthly by the Meteorologist to the procurement office of the purchasing authority. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under California commercial code.
  4. Performance Standards: The Meteorologist shall adhere to all data accuracy standards established by the National Weather Service and the California Air Resources Board. Forecast accuracy for the United States San Francisco region shall not fall below 92% for 24-hour predictions and 85% for 72-hour predictions over any rolling 90-day period.

  6. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice.
