- Scope of Midwifery Services: All midwife services procured under this Purchase Order shall be delivered by midwives holding a valid Japanese Midwife License (助産師免許) issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan. The midwife assigned to each service line item must maintain current certification and shall not practice outside the scope defined by Japan's Midwife and Nurse Act (助産師法, Act No. 154 of 1948).
- Service Location: All services shall be performed within the administrative boundaries of Tokyo Metropolis (東京都), Japan. The primary service hub is located in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, with satellite operations in Shinjuku-ku, Minato-ku, and Chiyoda-ku. No midwife services shall be rendered outside Tokyo without prior written amendment to this Purchase Order.
- Compliance with Japanese Law: The supplier shall comply with all applicable Japanese regulations, including the Maternal and Child Health Act, the Medical Care Act, and Tokyo Metropolitan public health ordinances. - Language: This Purchase Order is executed in English. In the event of any discrepancy between the English version and a Japanese translation, the English version shall prevail for international procurement purposes, while the Japanese version shall govern for domestic regulatory filings in Tokyo.
