1. Scope of Purchase Order — Midwife Services in Switzerland ZurichThis Purchase Order is issued by the Health Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland Zurich, to formally engage the services of a certified Midwife for the provision of comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care within the Switzerland Zurich metropolitan area. All payments under this Purchase Order shall be made in Swiss Francs (CHF) via bank transfer to the Midwife's designated account. Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of invoice receipt. The Midwife shall issue itemized invoices corresponding to each service milestone completed. Late payments shall incur interest at the rate prescribed by the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR Art. 104). The total value of this Purchase Order is subject to the Swiss Federal Procurement Act (BöB) guidelines applicable to public healthcare contracts in Switzerland Zurich.
4. Terms, Conditions & Compliance Requirements- Professional Licensure: The Midwife must maintain an active, unrestricted license issued by the Swiss Federal Commission for Health Professions (EMAS) and be registered with the SBBV. Any lapse in licensure shall constitute immediate grounds for termination of this Purchase Order.
- Scope of Practice: All Midwife services shall be performed strictly within the scope defined by the Swiss Health Professions Act (HPG) and the cantonal directives of the Canton of Zurich. The Midwife shall not perform any procedure that falls outside her registered competency without prior written authorization from the supervising physician.
