3. Purpose of Purchase Order

This Purchase Order is issued by the Australian Defence Force Joint Logistics Command, Australia Brisbane, to procure specialised equipment, uniforms, and training materials required for the commissioning and operational readiness of a newly appointed Military Officer. The Military Officer in question will be assigned to the 2nd Battalion, Royal Queensland Regiment, stationed at the Australia Brisbane Defence Precinct. 5. Delivery and Acceptance

All items specified in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Australia Brisbane Defence Precinct, 100 Military Road, Redbank Plains, Queensland 4101, no later than 01 August 2025. Delivery must be made between the hours of 0800 and 1600, Monday to Friday. The Military Officer to whom the equipment is assigned, or their designated receiving officer, shall inspect all items upon arrival. Acceptance is contingent upon full compliance with the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order and adherence to Australian Defence Standards. Any non-conforming items must be replaced within fourteen (14) calendar days at the supplier's expense.

6. Terms and Conditions

This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Queensland. The supplier acknowledges that all goods and services procured under this Purchase Order are intended for the operational use of a Military Officer within the Australian Defence Force, Australia Brisbane region. The supplier warrants that all items are new, free from defects, and manufactured in compliance with Australian regulatory standards. Payment shall be remitted within thirty (30) days of verified acceptance of all line items. This Purchase Order may not be assigned or subcontracted without prior written consent from the Authorising Officer. The supplier shall maintain full insurance coverage for all goods in transit to the Australia Brisbane delivery point. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in accordance with the Defence Procurement Rules 2024 and, where applicable, the Australian Consumer Law.
