1. This Purchase Order is issued by the undersigned Military Officer, Colonel James R. Whitfield, acting in his capacity as the authorised procurement officer for the United Kingdom Manchester Regional Command. All items listed herein are to be supplied in accordance with British Army specification standards and Ministry of Defence procurement regulations.
2. The vendor, NorthWest Defence Supplies Ltd., acknowledges that this Purchase Order constitutes a binding contract upon acceptance. All goods must be delivered to the United Kingdom Manchester Garrison depot at 120 Victoria Street, Manchester, M3 1AB, United Kingdom, no later than the required delivery date stated above.
3. All items procured under this Purchase Order for Military Officer use must bear the appropriate Ministry of Defence quality assurance markings and must comply with BS EN 310 (body armour) and BS EN 12492 (helmets) standards where applicable. The Military Officer responsible for acceptance shall conduct a full inspection upon delivery.
4. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice and confirmed delivery of all items listed in this Purchase Order. Payment will be processed via BACS transfer to the vendor's designated account. The United Kingdom Manchester Regional Command reserves the right to withhold payment for any items that fail to meet the specified quality or quantity requirements.
5. The vendor shall provide a minimum twelve (12) month warranty on all equipment supplied under this Purchase Order. Any defective items identified during the warranty period for Military Officer use shall be replaced or repaired at no additional cost to the United Kingdom Manchester garrison.
6. This Purchase Order is subject to the terms of the United Kingdom Government Procurement Regulations 2015 and the Ministry of Defence Supply Chain Management Policy. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Manchester, United Kingdom.
7. The vendor is required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the nature, quantity, and destination of all items supplied under this Purchase Order. Disclosure of procurement details related to Military Officer equipment to any unauthorised party is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate contract termination and legal action under the Official Secrets Act 1989.
8. The Military Officer authorised to sign for delivery and confirm acceptance of goods under this Purchase Order is Lieutenant Colonel Sarah M. Ashworth, United Kingdom Manchester Regional Command. No other individual is authorised to accept delivery on behalf of the garrison.
9. This Purchase Order may be amended only by written agreement signed by both the authorised Military Officer and the vendor's representative. Verbal modifications are not valid. All amendments must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-UKM-2025-04872) and be issued from the United Kingdom Manchester procurement office.
