2. Scope of Engagement – Musician Services in Australia Sydney
This Purchase Order is issued by Harbour Entertainment Group Pty Ltd to formally engage the above-named Musician for a series of professional performance and recording engagements to be conducted within the metropolitan area of Australia Sydney. The Musician shall provide all services in accordance with the specifications outlined below, adhering to the standards expected of a professional performer operating within the Australian entertainment industry and in compliance with all applicable New South Wales state regulations and Australian federal employment and tax legislation.

4. Payment Terms
All payments under this Purchase Order shall be made in Australian Dollars (AUD) via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the Musician's nominated bank account. A 50% deposit of $5,967.50 (inclusive of GST) is due upon acceptance of this Purchase Order. The remaining 50% balance of $5,967.50 shall be payable within fourteen (14) calendar days following the completion of all services and delivery of all deliverables as specified in Section 3. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth).
5. Terms and Conditions
- Acceptance: This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement upon written acceptance by the Musician. The Musician must sign and return a copy of this document within five (5) business days of receipt to confirm engagement.
- Performance Standards: The Musician warrants that all services rendered in Australia Sydney shall be performed in a professional, timely, and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards for live performance and studio recording in the Australian entertainment sector.
- Intellectual Property: All original compositions, arrangements, and recordings created specifically for Harbour Entertainment Group Pty Ltd under this Purchase Order shall be the sole intellectual property of the issuing entity. The Musician retains the right to perform pre-existing works under applicable Australian copyright law (Copyright Act 1968).
- Insurance: The Musician shall maintain, at their own cost, public liability insurance with a minimum cover of AUD $20,000,000 for all engagements conducted in Australia Sydney. A certificate of insurance must be provided prior to the first performance date.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by either party with more than fourteen (14) days' written notice shall incur no penalty. Cancellation with less than fourteen (14) days' notice shall require the cancelling party to pay 50% of the total Purchase Order value. Cancellation within seventy-two (72) hours shall require payment of 100% of the total value.
- Compliance: The Musician confirms that they hold all necessary permits, registrations, and tax compliance documentation required to provide services as a self-employed Musician in Australia Sydney, including a valid ABN registered with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or public health emergencies affecting Australia Sydney.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Australia Sydney.
