This Purchase Order is issued by Brussels Cultural Events S.A. to formally engage the services of a professional Musician for a series of cultural performances and private events to be held within the municipality of Belgium Brussels. This document constitutes a binding commercial agreement between the purchasing entity and the Musician for the provision of live musical performances, rehearsal sessions, and related artistic services. All terms, conditions, and obligations outlined herein shall be governed by the commercial laws of the Kingdom of Belgium and shall apply exclusively to engagements conducted within the administrative boundaries of Belgium Brussels.
The Musician engaged under this Purchase Order shall provide the following services in Belgium Brussels:
- Live classical piano and vocal performance at the annual Brussels Heritage Gala, scheduled for 22 August 2025, at the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Brussels.
- Two (2) private corporate events for Belgian-based companies, to be performed at venues within the Brussels-Capital Region.
- One (1) public concert at the Place du Grand Sablon, Brussels, as part of the Brussels Summer Music Festival.
- Three (3) rehearsal sessions at the Brussels Philharmonic Rehearsal Hall, Rue de la Régence 3, 1000 Brussels.
- Preparation and arrangement of a custom musical programme tailored to the thematic requirements of each event in Belgium Brussels.

All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR). VAT is applied at the standard Belgian rate of 21% as per the Belgian Code on VAT. The Musician is registered as a self-employed professional in Belgium Brussels and is responsible for declaring all income and remitting applicable social security contributions to the Belgian National Office for Self-Employed Persons (ONSS).
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Musician’s designated Belgian bank account (IBAN: BE68 5390 0754 7034).
- A 40% advance payment (EUR 3,799.40 incl. VAT) is due within ten (10) business days of the acceptance of this Purchase Order.
- The remaining 60% balance (EUR 5,699.10 incl. VAT) shall be settled within fifteen (15) business days following the completion of all performances and services in Belgium Brussels.
- Late payments shall incur interest at the rate prescribed by the Belgian Law of 2 April 1991 on Late Payment in Commercial Transactions.
- This Purchase Order becomes effective upon written acceptance by both the purchasing entity and the Musician.
- The Musician shall comply with all applicable Belgian labour, tax, and social security regulations applicable to self-employed artists performing in Belgium Brussels.
- The Musician shall maintain adequate professional liability insurance covering all performances within the Brussels-Capital Region.
- Any cancellation by the purchasing entity more than fourteen (14) days prior to an event shall result in a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations within fourteen (14) days shall incur a 50% fee.
- The Musician reserves the right to reschedule a performance due to documented illness or force majeure, with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to the purchasing entity.
- All intellectual property rights in custom arrangements created under this Purchase Order shall remain with the Musician, with a non-exclusive licence granted to the purchasing entity for archival and promotional use within Belgium Brussels.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved by the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium, in accordance with Belgian law.
- This Purchase Order may only be amended in writing, signed by both parties.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Musician in Belgium Brussels.
