1. Scope of Engagement: The Musician agrees to perform all services as described in the line items above. The Musician shall bring all necessary instruments, equipment, and personal audio gear to each venue in Canada Montreal. The Buyer shall provide stage access, power supply, and any venue-specific technical requirements.
2. Payment Terms: Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made within thirty (30) days of the date of the final invoice. A deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total Purchase Order amount, being CAD $4,462.50, is due upon acceptance of this Purchase Order by the Musician. The remaining balance shall be due within thirty (30) days following the completion of all services.
3. Payment Method: All payments under this Purchase Order shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank account designated by the Musician. The Buyer's remittance shall be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) from a financial institution operating within Canada.
4. Cancellation Policy: Either party may cancel this Purchase Order with a minimum of fourteen (14) days' written notice prior to the scheduled event date. Cancellations within fourteen (14) days of the event date shall incur a fee of seventy-five percent (75%) of the contracted amount for that specific line item. Cancellations within seventy-two (72) hours shall incur a fee of one hundred percent (100%).
5. Musician's Obligations: The Musician warrants that all performances shall be conducted in a professional and timely manner. The Musician shall arrive at each venue in Canada Montreal no less than sixty (60) minutes prior to the scheduled start time for sound check and preparation. The Musician shall comply with all venue rules, noise ordinances, and public performance regulations applicable in the Province of Quebec and the City of Montreal.
6. Intellectual Property: All original compositions created by the Musician during the studio recording session (Line Item 05) shall remain the intellectual property of the Musician. The Buyer is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the recorded tracks for promotional and event-related purposes within Canada Montreal and the Province of Quebec.
7. Insurance and Liability: The Musician shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of CAD $1,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order. The Musician shall be responsible for any damage caused to venue property by the Musician's equipment or actions during performances in Canada Montreal.
8. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
