The Musician is expected to deliver a minimum of six (6) live performance sets, each lasting no fewer than forty-five (45) minutes, spread over the three-day festival period from 21 June 2025 to 23 June 2025. The repertoire shall include a curated selection of French classical compositions, traditional Provençal melodies, and contemporary jazz arrangements, all performed on a grand piano provided by the ordering entity. The Musician shall also conduct one (1) public masterclass session for aspiring young musicians in Marseille, lasting two (2) hours, as part of the cultural outreach component of this Purchase Order.

Payment for this Purchase Order shall be processed via bank transfer (virement bancaire) to the account of the Musician as follows: fifty percent (50%) of the grand total, amounting to 4,458.00 EUR, shall be disbursed within ten (10) business days of the formal acceptance of this Purchase Order. The remaining fifty percent (50%), amounting to 4,458.00 EUR, shall be paid within fifteen (15) business days following the successful completion of all performance obligations in France Marseille and the submission of a final invoice by the Musician. Late payments shall incur interest at the rate prescribed by French commercial law (Code de commerce, Article L441-10).
5. Terms and ConditionsThe Musician agrees to perform all services in full compliance with French labor regulations, social security contributions (URSSAF), and the collective agreement governing performing artists in France. The Musician shall maintain valid professional liability insurance throughout the duration of this Purchase Order. All performances shall take place at the designated venues in France Marseille as specified herein. The ordering entity shall provide a grand piano (minimum 9-foot concert model), stage lighting, and a dedicated sound engineer at each venue. The Musician reserves the right to modify the setlist by up to twenty percent (20%) with forty-eight (48) hours prior written notice. Cancellation by either party beyond the date specified in Section 6 shall be subject to a penalty of thirty percent (30%) of the total contract value. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the French Republic, and any disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce de Marseille.
6. Cancellation and Force MajeureEither party may cancel this Purchase Order without penalty up to fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the first performance date. Cancellations within fourteen days shall be subject to the penalty described in Section 5. In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to severe weather conditions affecting outdoor venues in France Marseille, public health emergencies, or government-issued restrictions, the Musician and the ordering entity shall negotiate in good faith to reschedule the affected performances at no additional cost to either party.
7. Acceptance and AuthorizationBy signing below, both parties acknowledge that this Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement for the engagement of the Musician for the cultural events described herein, to be executed in France Marseille. This document is issued in two (2) original copies, one for each party.
