1. Description of Services – Musician EngagementThis Purchase Order is issued by Grand Meridian Event Management Sdn. Bhd. to formally engage the services of a professional Musician for the "Kuala Lumpur International Cultural Gala 2025," a prestigious event to be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Jalan P. Ramlee, 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Musician shall provide live musical performance services as detailed in the line items below. 3.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Grand Meridian Event Management Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Purchaser") and Faizal Rahman Music & Performance Services (hereinafter referred to as "the Musician Vendor") for the provision of professional Musician services in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
3.2 The Musician Vendor shall ensure that all performing Musician personnel hold valid entertainment permits issued by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and that all performances comply with the Malaysian Entertainment Act 2007 and its amendments.
3.3 The Musician Vendor is responsible for providing all musical instruments, equipment, and accessories necessary for the performance. The venue shall provide standard stage lighting, a PA system, and basic microphone setup as per the technical rider submitted with this Purchase Order.
3.4 Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Musician Vendor's designated account. The 50% advance payment (MYR 13,965.50) is due within seven (7) business days of the acceptance of this Purchase Order. The remaining 50% balance (MYR 13,965.50) shall be settled within fourteen (14) business days following the successful completion of the performance on 22 August 2025.
3.5 The Musician Vendor shall provide a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours' written notice for any cancellation. In the event of cancellation by the Musician Vendor, the advance payment shall be refunded in full within ten (10) business days. In the event of cancellation by the Purchaser, the advance payment shall be forfeited.
3.6 All intellectual property rights pertaining to the custom musical arrangement (Item No. 05) shall be jointly owned by the Purchaser and the Musician Vendor, with the Purchaser retaining the right to use the composition for promotional purposes related to the Kuala Lumpur International Cultural Gala 2025.
3.7 The Musician Vendor shall maintain professional conduct throughout the event and shall adhere to the code of conduct established by the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre management. Any breach of venue regulations may result in immediate termination of this Purchase Order without further liability to the Purchaser.
3.8 This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
4. Acceptance and AuthorizationBy signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and service specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the Musician engagement in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
