- This Purchase Order is issued in accordance with the Ethiopian Federal Procurement and Property Administration Proclamation No. 1160/2019 and the implementing regulations of the Addis Ababa City Administration.
- The Supplier shall ensure that every Nurse placed under this Purchase Order holds a current, valid license issued by the Ethiopian Nursing Council and that all professional indemnity insurance is maintained throughout the contract period.
- All Nurse personnel shall report for duty at the Addis Ababa Tertiary Referral Hospital, located in Bole Sub-City, Ethiopia Addis Ababa, no later than 01 August 2025. Failure to report within the stipulated period shall constitute a material breach of this Purchase Order.
- Payment shall be made on a monthly basis within fifteen (15) calendar days of the end of each service month, subject to satisfactory performance appraisal by the Hospital Nursing Directorate. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Supplier.
- The Supplier is responsible for all statutory employer contributions, including but not limited to pension fund (Ethiopian Social Security Agency), income tax withholding, and any applicable levies mandated by the Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority.
- Each Nurse shall be subject to the hospital's code of conduct, infection control protocols, and patient confidentiality policies as defined by the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia.
- The Buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice in the event of sustained underperformance, disciplinary action, or material breach by any Nurse or the Supplier.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. In the absence of resolution within sixty (60) days, the matter shall be referred to the competent court in Ethiopia Addis Ababa in accordance with Ethiopian civil law.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute an employment contract between the Buyer and the individual Nurse. The employment relationship exists solely between the Supplier and the Nurse.
- The Supplier shall submit a monthly compliance report to the Buyer's Procurement Office, confirming the active status, attendance, and performance metrics of each Nurse assigned under this Purchase Order.
