This Purchase Order is issued by Accra Metropolitan Health Services Ltd. to procure the services of a qualified Nurse for deployment at our primary healthcare facility located in the Osu district of Ghana Accra. The Nurse shall be responsible for patient assessment, administration of prescribed medications, wound care, vital sign monitoring, health education, and coordination with senior medical staff across all inpatient and outpatient wards.
The Nurse must hold a valid Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree from an accredited institution recognized by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC) and possess a current, unrestricted professional license to practice nursing in the Republic of Ghana. A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting within Ghana Accra or another West African healthcare environment is required. The Nurse must also demonstrate proficiency in both English and at least one local language (Twi, Ga, or Ewe) to ensure effective communication with patients across the diverse communities served in Ghana Accra.

4.1 Commencement and Duration: The Nurse shall commence duties no later than 1 August 2025 at the designated facility in Ghana Accra. The contractual engagement period shall be twelve (12) months, renewable upon mutual written agreement between the parties. This Purchase Order governs all terms of the engagement.
4.2 Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three (3) equal installments of GHS 86,825.00 each. The first installment is due upon successful placement and first-day attendance of the Nurse in Ghana Accra. The second installment is due at the completion of month six (6). The final installment is due upon satisfactory completion of the twelve-month contract period. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account with the Republic Bank of Ghana, Accra branch.
4.3 Compliance and Regulation: The Nurse shall comply with all regulations set forth by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana, the Ministry of Health of Ghana, and all applicable local bylaws governing healthcare practice in Ghana Accra. The supplier warrants that the Nurse shall maintain a valid professional license throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
4.4 Confidentiality and Data Protection: The Nurse shall adhere strictly to the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and all institutional policies regarding patient confidentiality. Any breach of patient privacy shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order without further compensation.
4.5 Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of gross misconduct, unprofessional conduct, or loss of NMC licensure by the Nurse, the issuing entity reserves the right to terminate immediately and without penalty.
4.6 Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from this document shall be resolved through arbitration in Ghana Accra in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2099 (Act 626).
4.7 Insurance: The supplier shall ensure that the Nurse is covered under a comprehensive professional indemnity insurance policy with a minimum coverage of GHS 500,000.00 for the entire contract duration, valid within the jurisdiction of Ghana Accra and the wider Greater Accra Region.
