The Nurse or Nurses engaged under this Purchase Order must satisfy the following mandatory criteria before commencing duties at the Colombo General Hospital in Sri Lanka Colombo:
- A valid and current Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Sri Lanka (NMBL).
- A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification clinical experience in a tertiary care hospital setting within Sri Lanka or an internationally recognized healthcare system.
- Specialized certification in Critical Care Nursing or Emergency Nursing, as applicable to the assigned unit.
- Proficiency in both Sinhala and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary medical teams in the Colombo metropolitan area.
- A clean police clearance certificate obtained from the Colombo Police Headquarters, valid for no more than six (6) months prior to the start date.
- Completion of a current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Physical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner in Sri Lanka Colombo, confirming the candidate's ability to perform the physical demands of nursing duties.
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Colombo Metropolitan Health Authority and MediCare Professional Staffing Ltd. upon acceptance and signature by both parties. All services rendered under this order shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Sri Lanka.
- The Supplier shall ensure that the Nurse or Nurses assigned under this Purchase Order report for duty at the Colombo General Hospital, Colombo 03, Sri Lanka, no later than 01 July 2025 at 08:00 AM. Failure to meet this deadline shall entitle the Purchasing Entity to cancel this order without penalty.
- All compensation, allowances, and benefits specified in this Purchase Order are inclusive of statutory deductions as mandated by the Sri Lankan Inland Revenue Department and the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees' Trust Fund (ETF) regulations.
- The Supplier warrants that the Nurse engaged shall not be under any contractual obligation to another employer in Sri Lanka Colombo or abroad at the time of engagement. Any breach of this warranty shall render this Purchase Order void at the sole discretion of the Purchasing Entity.
- Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Supplier. Invoices must be submitted to the Accounts Department of the Colombo Metropolitan Health Authority by the 5th of each month for the preceding month's services.
- The Purchasing Entity reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice in the event of unsatisfactory performance, disciplinary issues, or material breach of professional conduct by the Nurse.
- All patient data, clinical records, and confidential information accessed by the Nurse during the course of employment under this order shall be treated in strict accordance with the Sri Lankan Data Protection Act and the hospital's internal confidentiality policies.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and, if unresolved, through the competent courts of law in the Colombo District.
- This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement signed by authorized representatives of both parties. Verbal modifications shall hold no legal validity.
