All Nurse professionals procured under this Purchase Order shall be deployed to the following sites within United Kingdom Birmingham: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (Edgbaston), Birmingham Children's Hospital (Selly Oak), and the West Midlands Community Health Hub (Birmingham City Centre). The supplier, Midlands Nursing & Care Solutions Ltd, is responsible for the initial recruitment, right-to-work verification, DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks, and NMC registration validation for every Nurse placed under this Purchase Order. Deployment shall commence no later than 01 July 2025, and all Nurse staff must be fully inducted and operational within fourteen (14) calendar days of their start date.
- 4.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the West Midlands Healthcare Procurement Authority and Midlands Nursing & Care Solutions Ltd for the provision of Nurse services as described herein.
- 4.2 All Nurse professionals must hold a current NMC registration, valid right-to-work in the United Kingdom, and a clean enhanced DBS certificate. Failure to meet these requirements shall result in immediate removal from the placement at the supplier's cost.
- 4.3 The supplier shall provide a minimum of 28 days' written notice for any substitution of a Nurse professional. Substitutions must be of equivalent or higher qualification and experience.
- 4.4 Payment shall be made via BACS transfer within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice referencing this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-BHM-04872).
- 4.5 The supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than £5,000,000 per claim for all Nurse staff and shall provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
- 4.6 All data processed in connection with this Purchase Order and the Nurse services provided shall comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- 4.7 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom Birmingham.
- 4.8 The contract term is twelve (12) months from the date of first deployment, with an option to extend for a further twelve (12) months by mutual written agreement.
The supplier shall submit quarterly performance reports detailing Nurse attendance rates, patient satisfaction scores, incident reports, and continuing professional development (CPD) hours logged by each Nurse. The West Midlands Healthcare Procurement Authority reserves the right to conduct unannounced audits of any Nurse placement site within United Kingdom Birmingham to ensure compliance with the standards outlined in this Purchase Order. A sustained Nurse absence rate exceeding 15% in any given month, without adequate cover, shall be deemed a material breach of this Purchase Order.
