Description of Procured ServicesThis Purchase Order is issued by Dhaka Metropolitan Rehabilitation & Wellness Centre to formally procure the professional services of a qualified Occupational Therapist to be deployed at our facility located in Bangladesh Dhaka. The Occupational Therapist shall provide comprehensive therapeutic interventions, patient assessments, treatment plan development, and rehabilitation support services in accordance with the standards set by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) and the Bangladesh Occupational Therapy Association (BOTA).

- Qualification Requirement: The Occupational Therapist engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BSOT) or Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) from a BMDC-recognized institution in Bangladesh or an equivalently accredited foreign university. The therapist must possess a valid professional registration with the Bangladesh Occupational Therapy Association (BOTA) and a current practice license valid in Bangladesh Dhaka.
- Commencement Date: Services shall commence on 01 July 2025 at the purchasing party's facility in Banani, Bangladesh Dhaka. The Occupational Therapist is expected to report for duty at 09:00 AM Bangladesh Standard Time (BST, UTC+6).
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in monthly installments via bank transfer to the account designated by Therapeutic Excellence Bangladesh Ltd. The first installment is due within 15 days of the commencement date. All payments are subject to the terms outlined in this Purchase Order.
- Working Hours: The Occupational Therapist shall work a standard 40-hour week (Monday through Friday, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM) with a one-hour lunch break. Additional hours for emergency patient care shall be compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
- Confidentiality: The Occupational Therapist shall maintain strict confidentiality of all patient records and clinical data in compliance with the Digital Security Act 2018 of Bangladesh and the institutional data protection policies of the Bangladesh Dhaka facility.
- Performance Standards: The Occupational Therapist shall submit monthly progress reports to the Chief Operations Officer. Quarterly performance reviews shall be conducted. Failure to meet the clinical benchmarks outlined in the service agreement may result in termination of this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination, all completed services shall be invoiced and paid in full within 14 days.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from this document shall be resolved through arbitration in Bangladesh Dhaka in accordance with the Arbitration Act 2001.
- Insurance: The Occupational Therapist shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of BDT 5,000,000, valid throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or other events beyond reasonable control, as commonly recognized in Bangladesh Dhaka commercial practice.
