This Purchase Order is issued by Al-Noor Rehabilitation & Wellness Centre, Karachi, to formally engage the services of a qualified Occupational Therapist for the provision of comprehensive therapeutic interventions to patients within the Pakistan Karachi metropolitan area. The Occupational Therapist engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a PHEC-recognized institution in Pakistan or an equivalent internationally accredited program. The therapist must maintain an active PHEC license and shall comply with all professional conduct standards as mandated by the Sindh Medical and Dental Council. All clinical services shall be rendered at the designated facility in Clifton, Karachi, or at approved community sites within the Pakistan Karachi metropolitan region as directed by the centre's clinical director.
The Occupational Therapist is expected to maintain detailed patient records in both English and Urdu, participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, and contribute to the centre's annual quality assurance reports submitted to the Sindh Health Authority. The therapist shall also assist in training junior staff and volunteers in basic occupational therapy techniques relevant to the Pakistan Karachi healthcare context.
3. Terms and Conditions- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made on a monthly basis within fifteen (15) working days of the Occupational Therapist's submission of a duly signed timesheet and service report. Payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the account specified by the therapist. All payments are subject to applicable Pakistani tax regulations and FBR withholding requirements.
- Service Standards: The Occupational Therapist shall adhere to the clinical protocols established by Al-Noor Rehabilitation & Wellness Centre and the broader standards of occupational therapy practice as recognized in Pakistan Karachi and internationally. Any deviation from approved protocols must be pre-approved in writing by the centre's medical director.
- Confidentiality: The Occupational Therapist shall maintain strict confidentiality of all patient records and clinical information in compliance with the Pakistan Data Protection Ordinance and the centre's internal privacy policies. Breach of confidentiality shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In cases of professional misconduct, gross negligence, or loss of PHEC licensure, the centre reserves the right to terminate this engagement immediately without prior notice.
- Insurance and Liability: The Occupational Therapist shall maintain valid professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of PKR 10,000,000 throughout the duration of this Purchase Order. The centre shall not be liable for any claims arising from the therapist's professional negligence.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to the competent civil court in Karachi under the jurisdiction of the Sindh High Court.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed lockdowns in Pakistan Karachi, or public health emergencies declared by the Sindh government.
- Compliance: The Occupational Therapist warrants that all services rendered under this Purchase Order shall comply with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Sindh provincial health regulations, and all applicable municipal bylaws of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and service specifications outlined in this Purchase Order. This document constitutes a binding agreement for the engagement of the Occupational Therapist at the Al-Noor Rehabilitation & Wellness Centre in Pakistan Karachi for the period specified herein.
