This Purchase Order is issued to procure specialised oceanographic instrumentation, sensor arrays, and supporting laboratory equipment required for the ongoing research programme conducted by Dr. Margaret Ellison, a Senior Oceanographer at the Queensland Marine Research Institute. The equipment specified herein will be deployed in the coastal waters surrounding Australia Brisbane, including Moreton Bay, the Gold Coast hinterland marine zones, and the open waters of the Coral Sea to the east. All items listed in this Purchase Order must comply with Australian Standards AS/NZS 3745 for marine instrumentation and must be certified for use in the marine environment of Australia Brisbane by the relevant Queensland Department of Environment and Science.

The Oceanographer responsible for the deployment and calibration of this equipment will require full technical documentation, calibration certificates, and a minimum of two (2) days of on-site training at the supplier's facility in Australia Brisbane prior to the commencement of field operations. The supplier acknowledges that the Oceanographer will be the sole authorised operator of the purchased equipment and that all warranty claims must be directed through the purchasing entity's procurement office.

1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the purchasing entity and the supplier upon written acceptance by both parties. All terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia.
2. All equipment must be delivered to the Queensland Marine Research Institute facility at 120 Creek Street, Australia Brisbane, QLD 4000, no later than the required delivery date stated above. Late delivery will incur a penalty of 1.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay.
3. The supplier warrants that all items are new, unused, and free from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period is a minimum of twenty-four (24) months from the date of delivery in Australia Brisbane.
4. The Oceanographer designated by the purchasing entity shall conduct a full acceptance inspection within ten (10) business days of delivery. Any non-conforming items must be replaced or repaired at the supplier's sole expense within fourteen (14) days.
5. Payment shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's nominated Australian bank account within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice referencing this Purchase Order number.
6. The supplier shall provide all necessary export and import documentation, customs declarations, and marine transport insurance certificates required for the safe delivery of oceanographic equipment to Australia Brisbane.
7. Intellectual property in any custom software or firmware supplied with the equipment shall remain the property of the supplier. The purchasing entity and its Oceanographer staff are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use such software for research purposes within Australia.
8. This Purchase Order may only be amended in writing, signed by authorised representatives of both parties. Verbal modifications are not binding.
