- Payment Terms: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Purchase Order; 40% upon delivery and installation of all oceanographic equipment in China Guangzhou; 30% upon completion of the final survey report and acceptance by the Buyer.
- Delivery Location: All equipment and personnel shall be delivered to the Guangzhou Municipal Marine Research Institute, No. 128 Haizhu Avenue, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. The Oceanographer and team shall report to this location for the duration of the project.
- Compliance: The Oceanographer and all supporting personnel must hold valid work permits and visas for the People's Republic of China. All oceanographic activities in the waters adjacent to China Guangzhou must comply with the Maritime Law of the PRC, the Marine Environmental Protection Law, and any local regulations issued by the Guangzhou Municipal Government.
- Quality Assurance: All oceanographic instruments must be factory-calibrated and accompanied by certificates of calibration traceable to national standards. The Oceanographer shall conduct a full pre-deployment calibration check on-site in China Guangzhou prior to any field operations.
- Intellectual Property: All data collected, reports generated, and methodologies developed under this Purchase Order shall be the sole property of the Guangzhou Municipal Marine Research Institute. The Oceanographer shall not publish or disseminate any project-specific data without prior written consent.
- Warranty: All oceanographic equipment carries a minimum 24-month warranty from the date of installation in China Guangzhou. The Oceanographer shall respond to any warranty claim within 48 hours.
