All items under this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Medellín Vision Care Institute facility at Calle 43 # 52-180, El Poblado, Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia. The supplier is responsible for arranging international freight from the United States to the Port of Cartagena or the José María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro, Antioquia, and coordinating final ground transportation to our clinic in Medellín. All shipments must include proper customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and INVIMA registration numbers for each medical device. The Ophthalmologist equipment must be shipped in climate-controlled packaging to ensure integrity during transit through the tropical climate of Colombia.
- Payment Method: Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) issued through Bancolombia S.A., Medellín branch, or wire transfer to the supplier's designated account.
- Payment Schedule: 40% advance payment upon confirmation of this Purchase Order; 50% upon shipment and presentation of Bill of Lading; 10% upon successful installation, calibration, and acceptance of all Ophthalmologist equipment at our Medellín facility.
- Currency: All amounts are denominated in United States Dollars (USD). Final settlement in Colombian Pesos (COP) may be arranged at the exchange rate published by the Banco de la República on the date of payment.
- Due Date: Each installment is due within 30 calendar days of the triggering event. Late payments shall accrue interest at 1.5% per month as permitted under Colombian commercial law.
