Terms and Conditions
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of invoice issuance. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the Ophthalmologist's designated account in Saudi Arabia. All amounts are quoted in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- Delivery / Service Location: All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be performed at Al-Nour Eye Care Medical Center, King Fahd Road, Al-Safa District, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, or at such other location within Jeddah as mutually agreed in writing by both parties.
- Service Period: The Ophthalmologist shall provide all services outlined in this Purchase Order over a period of twelve (12) months commencing from 1 July 2025 through 30 June 2026.
- Quality and Compliance: The Ophthalmologist warrants that all procedures, consultations, and services shall be performed in strict compliance with the regulations of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (CCHS), the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). All equipment and consumables shall meet international quality standards and be approved for use in Saudi Arabia.
- Confidentiality: The Ophthalmologist shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient records, medical data, and proprietary information of Al-Nour Eye Care Medical Center in accordance with Saudi data protection regulations.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of termination, the Ophthalmologist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, or public health emergencies in Saudi Arabia.
Notes and Special Instructions
The Ophthalmologist is required to submit a detailed monthly report to the Procurement Manager of Al-Nour Eye Care Medical Center, Jeddah, summarizing all procedures performed, patient outcomes, and any complications encountered. All surgical instruments and ophthalmic equipment used in conjunction with the Ophthalmologist's services must be sterilized and maintained in accordance with the hospital's infection control protocols. The Ophthalmologist shall carry valid professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of SAR 5,000,000, and a copy of the insurance certificate must be provided prior to the commencement of services under this Purchase Order.
