This Purchase Order is issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services Authority (DMEMSA) to procure the services of a qualified Paramedic for deployment within the Dhaka metropolitan area. All amounts are denominated in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). Payment shall be processed through the designated government banking channel at the Bangladesh Bank–licensed commercial bank in Dhaka.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the Public Procurement Rules 2008 (as amended) of Bangladesh.
- The Paramedic engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid certificate of registration with the Bangladesh Paramedic Council and a minimum of three (3) years of documented field experience in emergency medical services within Bangladesh Dhaka or equivalent metropolitan settings.
- The Paramedic shall report to the DMEMSA Central Dispatch Station located at Motijheel C/A, Dhaka, and shall be available for 24/7 rotational duty as per the Bangladesh government emergency service schedule.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon acceptance of this Purchase Order, 40% upon successful completion of the first six (6) months of service, and the remaining 30% upon satisfactory completion of the full 12-month contract period. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account specified by MediCare Paramedic Services Ltd.
- The supplier shall ensure that the Paramedic complies with all data protection and patient confidentiality obligations under the Digital Security Act 2018 of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Medical Ethics Code.
- Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in accordance with the Bangladesh Arbitration Act 2001.
- This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue. Failure to accept within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- The Paramedic shall be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DMEMSA internal policy and Bangladesh labor regulations.
The Paramedic shall commence active duty no later than 1 August 2025 at the DMEMSA Central Dispatch Station, Motijheel, Dhaka 1000, Bangladesh. All equipment listed in Item 05 shall be delivered and installed at the designated ambulance bay in Dhaka no later than 28 July 2025. The supplier shall coordinate with the DMEMSA Logistics Division for site access and installation scheduling within the Bangladesh Dhaka municipal jurisdiction.
