1. SCOPE OF PURCHASE ORDER

This Purchase Order is issued by Islamabad Medical & Pharmaceutical Services Ltd., a registered pharmaceutical distribution and retail entity operating in Pakistan Islamabad, for the professional engagement of a licensed Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical advisory, dispensing, inventory management, and regulatory compliance services at our primary retail pharmacy outlet located in Blue Area, Pakistan Islamabad. The Pharmacist engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for ensuring that all pharmaceutical products dispensed at the facility comply with the regulations set forth by the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) and the Pakistan Pharmacy Council.

3. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE PHARMACIST

The Pharmacist engaged under this Purchase Order must satisfy the following mandatory criteria to operate legally and professionally within Pakistan Islamabad:

  1. Hold a valid Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) degree from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
  2. Be currently registered and licensed with the Pakistan Pharmacy Council (PPC) with an active practice permit valid for the Islamabad region.
  3. Have a minimum of five (5) years of post-qualification experience in retail or hospital pharmacy settings, preferably within Pakistan Islamabad or the Federal Capital Territory.
  4. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the Drug Act 1976, the DRAP regulations, and the PPC Code of Professional Conduct applicable in Pakistan Islamabad.
  5. Be proficient in the use of pharmacy management software, electronic prescription systems, and inventory tracking platforms used by pharmaceutical retailers in Pakistan Islamabad.
  6. Provide a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and a clean criminal record certificate issued by the Islamabad Police for the purpose of this Purchase Order engagement.
4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PURCHASE ORDER
  1. Payment Schedule: Payment for the Pharmacist services shall be made on a monthly basis within thirty (30) days of the end of each calendar month. Invoices shall be submitted to the procurement department of Islamabad Medical & Pharmaceutical Services Ltd. in Pakistan Islamabad.
  2. Working Hours: The Pharmacist shall be available at the designated pharmacy outlet in Pakistan Islamabad from 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, with a one-hour lunch break. Sunday shall be the weekly off day unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  3. Confidentiality: The Pharmacist shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient records, prescription data, and proprietary business information of the issuing organization in accordance with the Pakistan Data Protection regulations applicable in Islamabad.
  4. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of gross professional misconduct by the Pharmacist, the organization may terminate this Purchase Order immediately without prior notice, subject to PPC disciplinary procedures in Pakistan Islamabad.
  5. Liability and Insurance: The Pharmacist shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of PKR 5,000,000. Any malpractice or dispensing errors shall be the sole responsibility of the Pharmacist unless caused by organizational negligence.
  6. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Pakistan Islamabad, FCT.
  7. Tax Compliance: All applicable taxes, including withholding tax as per the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, shall be deducted at source by the issuing organization in Pakistan Islamabad. The Pharmacist shall provide a valid tax file number (TIN) for compliance.
  8. Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall first be attempted to be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within fifteen (15) days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration in Pakistan Islamabad in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1940.
5. AUTHORIZATION AND ACCEPTANCE

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept all terms, conditions, and obligations outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Pharmacist in Pakistan Islamabad. This document constitutes a binding agreement between the parties for the duration specified herein.
