This Purchase Order is issued by Ceylon Media & Events Pvt. Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- Scope of Work: The Photographer and their team shall provide all photographic services as described in this Purchase Order at the Ceylon Convention Centre, Sri Lanka Colombo, on 22–23 June 2025. All equipment, lenses, lighting, and drone hardware shall be supplied and maintained by the Photographer at their own cost.
- Delivery Schedule: Raw image files shall be delivered within 72 hours of event completion. Edited and retouched images shall be delivered within 10 business days. The printed photo albums shall be delivered within 14 business days to the buyer's registered office in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
- Payment Terms: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Purchase Order. 50% upon delivery of all edited digital assets. 10% upon physical delivery of printed albums. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account specified by the Photographer. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice receipt.
- Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all copyright and reproduction rights to the final edited images shall transfer to Ceylon Media & Events Pvt. Ltd. The Photographer retains the right to use up to 10 images in their professional portfolio and marketing materials, subject to prior written approval from the buyer.
- Insurance and Liability: The Photographer shall maintain comprehensive professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of LKR 10,000,000 for the duration of the engagement in Sri Lanka Colombo. The Photographer shall be solely responsible for any damage to equipment or third-party property during the shoot.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by the buyer more than 14 days prior to the event shall incur a 25% penalty. Cancellation within 14 days shall incur a 50% penalty. Cancellation by the Photographer without valid cause shall require full refund of any advance payment received.
- Compliance: The Photographer shall comply with all applicable laws of Sri Lanka, including the Copyright Act No. 13 of 2021, the Aviation and Airports Authority regulations for drone operations in Colombo, and all local business licensing requirements in Sri Lanka Colombo.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Colombo, Sri Lanka. If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to the Colombo District Court for adjudication.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or other events beyond reasonable control, provided written notice is given within 48 hours of the event.
