• 4.1 Scope of Work: The Physicist shall perform all duties outlined in Section 2 and in the attached Statement of Work (Annex A). Any additional services beyond the scope of this Purchase Order require a written amendment signed by both parties.
• 4.2 Duration: The engagement period is six (6) months, commencing on 1 July 2025 and concluding on 31 December 2025, unless extended by mutual written agreement.
• 4.3 Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in six equal monthly installments of BRL 62,408.33, due on the 5th business day of each month via bank transfer to the account designated by the Physicist. The lump-sum items (Items 2, 3, 5, and 6) shall be invoiced and paid within 30 days of service completion or delivery.
• 4.4 Intellectual Property: All research data, experimental results, and publications generated during the term of this Purchase Order shall be jointly owned by INPFA and the Physicist, subject to the intellectual property policies of the Brazilian federal government as established by Law No. 9.874/1999 (Lei da Inovação).
