This Purchase Order is issued by the Wellington Applied Sciences Institute and constitutes a formal request for services to be rendered by the named Physicist in accordance with the scope of work described in the line items above. All work shall be performed in and around New Zealand Wellington unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Physicist acknowledges receipt of this Purchase Order and confirms acceptance of all terms, conditions, and deliverables specified herein. Acceptance is deemed complete upon countersignature below or written confirmation via email within five (5) business days of the date of issue.
Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of a valid tax invoice issued by the Physicist. Payment will be processed via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank account specified in the supplier details section of this Purchase Order.
The Physicist shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of NZD $5,000,000 throughout the duration of the engagement. A certificate of insurance shall be provided to the Institute prior to commencing any on-site work in New Zealand Wellington.
All intellectual property, data, and documentation produced by the Physicist under this Purchase Order shall remain the sole property of the Wellington Applied Sciences Institute. The Physicist agrees not to publish, disclose, or utilise any proprietary information without prior written consent.
The Physicist shall comply with all applicable New Zealand legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, the Privacy Act 2020, and any local bylaws pertaining to the operation of scientific equipment in the New Zealand Wellington region.
Any variation to the scope of work, timeline, or pricing under this Purchase Order must be documented in a written variation order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
In the event of a dispute arising from this Purchase Order, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith mediation in New Zealand Wellington. Should mediation fail, the matter shall be referred to the Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand.
This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of New Zealand. The courts of New Zealand Wellington shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings arising from or in connection with this document.

All on-site services under this Purchase Order shall be conducted at the Wellington Applied Sciences Institute, 142 Lambton Quay, Te Aro, New Zealand Wellington 6011. The Physicist is required to present valid photographic identification and sign the site visitor register upon arrival. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 NZST, unless a different arrangement is approved in writing by the Institute's Facilities Manager.
