Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in three (3) equal installments of S/ 28,320.00 (including IGV), due at the following milestones: (a) upon execution of this Purchase Order and commencement of services; (b) upon completion of the laboratory supervision and peer review deliverables; and (c) upon final acceptance of all remaining deliverables, including the research proposal and seminar presentations. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Physicist in the attached vendor registration form. All transactions are subject to the tax regulations of the Peruvian Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria (SUNAT) as applicable in Peru Lima. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Peruvian Central Reserve Bank.
4. Terms and Conditions- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Universidad Tecnológica del Pacífico (Peru Lima) and the named Physicist for the duration of the engagement period specified herein.
- The Physicist shall maintain all professional licenses, certifications, and academic credentials in good standing throughout the term of this Purchase Order. Any lapse in professional registration shall be reported to the issuing university within forty-eight (48) hours.
- All intellectual property generated as a direct result of the services described in this Purchase Order shall be jointly owned by the university and the Physicist, with publication rights governed by a separate intellectual property addendum to be executed prior to commencement of work.
- The Physicist agrees to comply with all data protection and confidentiality obligations under Peruvian Law No. 29733 (Personal Data Protection Law) and the institutional research ethics protocols of the Peru Lima campus.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, payment shall be made pro-rata for services rendered up to the termination date.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Peru Lima, in accordance with the arbitration rules of the Centro de Arbitraje y Conciliación de la Cámara de Comercio de Lima.
