This Purchase Order is issued by the Qatar National Research Institute to formally engage the services of a qualified Physicist for the duration specified herein. The Physicist shall provide expert consultancy, research oversight, and technical advisory services in the fields of quantum mechanics, condensed matter physics, and advanced materials science. All work shall be conducted primarily at the QNRI facilities located in Qatar Doha, with the possibility of remote collaboration as mutually agreed upon. The Physicist is expected to maintain full compliance with all regulatory standards set forth by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Qatar and the Qatar Doha municipal authority.

All amounts are quoted in Qatari Riyals (QAR). Professional services rendered by a Physicist in Qatar Doha are exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT) under Article 52 of the Qatar VAT Law (Law No. 27 of 2018).
4. Payment Terms- Payment shall be made in monthly installments of QAR 93,800.00, due on the 5th business day of each month following the completion of services.
- Payment method: Bank transfer to the account designated by the Physicist. Bank: Qatar National Bank, Branch: Doha Central, Account No. to be provided upon acceptance of this Purchase Order.
- A 2% late-payment penalty shall apply to any installment not received within 10 business days of the due date.
- Final settlement of all outstanding balances shall be completed within 30 days of the contract termination date.
- Acceptance: This Purchase Order becomes binding upon written acceptance by the Physicist within 10 business days of the date of issue. Failure to respond within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- Performance Location: All on-site services shall be performed at the QNRI facility in Qatar Doha, Al Sadd District. The Physicist shall comply with all site safety protocols and Qatar Doha workplace regulations.
- Intellectual Property: All research outputs, data, publications, and inventions generated by the Physicist during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the sole property of the Qatar National Research Institute, unless otherwise agreed in a separate written addendum.
- Confidentiality: The Physicist agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary data, unpublished research, and internal strategies of the QNRI. This obligation survives the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
- Compliance: The Physicist warrants that they hold a valid Qatar Doha work permit and residence visa (Iqama) for the entire duration of this engagement. The Physicist shall bear full responsibility for maintaining valid immigration status in Qatar.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice. In the event of material breach, the non-breaching party may terminate immediately upon written notice.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Doha, Qatar, in accordance with the Qatar Doha Arbitration Centre rules.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, or public health emergencies affecting Qatar Doha.
