1. Scope and Compliance: The Plumber engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform all plumbing work in full accordance with the technical standards of ABNT (Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas), the municipal regulations of Brasília — DF, and the operational requirements of CAESB. The Plumber must hold a valid CREA-DF registration and present proof of professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of R$ 500,000.00 before commencing any work on the Brasília premises.
2. Schedule and Access: All scheduled Plumber services shall be performed between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 (Brasília local time, BRT — UTC-3) on business days, unless otherwise agreed in writing for emergency call-outs. The Plumber must coordinate access to the building through the Brasília Facilities Management security office at least 24 hours in advance.
3. Materials and Quality: All plumbing materials supplied by the Plumber must be new, of recognized commercial brands, and carry the appropriate INMETRO certification for use in Brazil. The Plumber shall provide material data sheets and warranty documentation for all installed components. A minimum warranty of 24 months applies to all workmanship and 5 years to all supplied materials.
4. Payment: Payment shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the Plumber's designated account in Brazil within 30 calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice (Nota Fiscal de Serviço) issued in accordance with the Brasília municipal tax authority (SEFAZ-DF) requirements. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1% per month plus SELIC index, as per Brazilian commercial law.
5. Health, Safety, and Environment: The Plumber shall comply with all occupational health and safety regulations applicable in Brasília, DF, including NR-18 (construction safety) and NR-33 (confined spaces). All waste materials generated during the plumbing work shall be properly disposed of in accordance with Brasília municipal environmental regulations and the District Federal waste management authority (IBRAM).
6. Cancellation and Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 15 days' written notice. In the event of cancellation by the buyer after work has commenced, the Plumber shall be compensated for all materials procured and labor performed up to the date of termination, plus a 10% administrative fee.
7. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Brasília — DF, Federal District, Brazil.
