Terms and Conditions – Purchase Order for Plumber Services in Canada Montreal
- This Purchase Order is governed by the Civil Code of Quebec and all applicable federal and provincial regulations in Canada Montreal. The Plumber vendor shall hold a valid Quebec plumbing contractor license throughout the duration of this engagement.
- All work performed under this Purchase Order must comply with the current Quebec Building Code, the City of Canada Montreal municipal bylaws, and the regulations set forth by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ). The Plumber is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary permits prior to commencing work.
- The Plumber shall provide a minimum of 48 hours written notice before any work that may disrupt water service to adjacent units or common areas within the Canada Montreal property.
- All materials specified in this Purchase Order must be new, of commercial grade, and sourced from approved Canadian suppliers. Substitutions require prior written approval from the Buyer's Facilities Manager.
- The Plumber shall maintain full liability insurance (minimum $5,000,000) and workers' compensation coverage as mandated by the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CSST) in Canada Montreal for the entire project duration.
- Payment shall be processed within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice referencing this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-04871). Late payments shall accrue interest at 1.5% per month as per Quebec commercial law.
- The Plumber warrants all workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of final acceptance. Any defects discovered within this warranty period shall be remediated at no additional cost to the Buyer.
- All debris, scrap piping, and construction waste generated by the Plumber during the project shall be removed from the Canada Montreal site daily and disposed of at a licensed recycling or waste facility in compliance with Quebec environmental regulations.
- This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement signed by both parties. No verbal modifications shall be binding.
- In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt mediation in Canada Montreal before resorting to litigation in the Superior Court of Quebec.
