- Delivery and Commencement: The Plumber contractor shall commence all work no later than 20 June 2025 at the specified site in Egypt Alexandria. All materials must be delivered to the site prior to the start date. The Plumber is responsible for safe storage of all plumbing materials on-site until installation.
- Completion Deadline: All Plumber services and installations described in this Purchase Order must be completed no later than 10 July 2025. Any delay beyond this date, not caused by force majeure, shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay, capped at 10% of the total value.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signing and commencement of work, 50% upon completion of all installation work and successful pressure testing, and 20% upon final acceptance after the post-installation maintenance visit. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the Plumber contractor's designated account in Alexandria, Egypt.
- Warranty: The Plumber contractor provides a minimum 24-month warranty on all labor and workmanship, and a 12-month warranty on all supplied materials and fixtures. Any defects discovered within the warranty period shall be rectified by the Plumber at no additional cost to the buyer.
- Compliance and Licensing: The Plumber must maintain a valid professional license issued by the Alexandria Governorate Municipal Authority throughout the duration of this Purchase Order. The Plumber shall comply with all applicable Egyptian labor laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and Alexandria municipal bylaws governing plumbing work.
- Insurance: The Plumber contractor shall maintain comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance with a minimum coverage of EGP 5,000,000 for the duration of the project. Certificates of insurance must be provided to the buyer prior to commencement of work.
- Site Access and Safety: The Plumber and all associated workers must adhere to the site safety protocols established by Alexandria Coastal Facilities Management Co. All Plumber personnel must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while on-site in Egypt Alexandria.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the matter shall be submitted to the competent courts in Alexandria, Egypt, in accordance with Egyptian law.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or civil unrest in Egypt Alexandria. The affected party must notify the other in writing within 48 hours of the event.
- Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding the terms of this Purchase Order and any proprietary information exchanged during the course of the Plumber engagement.
