1. Purpose and Scope of This Purchase OrderThis Purchase Order is issued by the Islamabad Municipal Housing Authority to engage the services of a licensed and certified Plumber, M/s. Al-Karam Plumbing & Sanitary Services, for the comprehensive repair, maintenance, and installation of plumbing infrastructure across residential blocks located in Pakistan Islamabad. This Purchase Order serves as a binding contractual document outlining the scope of work, deliverables, payment terms, and obligations of both parties. The Plumber engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform all duties in accordance with the Pakistan Building Code, the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) municipal regulations, and the standards set forth by the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA).
2. Scope of Work and DeliverablesThe Plumber shall be responsible for the following tasks as specified in this Purchase Order:

- Acceptance: This Purchase Order shall become effective upon written acceptance by the Plumber (M/s. Al-Karam Plumbing & Sanitary Services) within five (5) business days of the date of issue. Failure to accept within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- Timeline: The Plumber shall commence work within seven (7) calendar days of Purchase Order acceptance and shall complete all installation and repair work within sixty (60) calendar days from the commencement date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Quality Standards: All materials and workmanship provided by the Plumber must comply with the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) specifications and the building codes applicable in Pakistan Islamabad. All pipes, fittings, and fixtures must carry valid manufacturer certifications.
- Licensing and Insurance: The Plumber must hold a valid trade license issued by the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) local government and must maintain comprehensive liability insurance of no less than PKR 10,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three (3) installments: 30% advance upon Purchase Order acceptance, 50% upon completion of 75% of the work as verified by the Purchaser's site engineer, and 20% upon final inspection and sign-off. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account specified by the Plumber.
- Warranty: The Plumber shall provide a minimum warranty of two (2) years on all installed materials and workmanship. Any defects arising within the warranty period shall be rectified by the Plumber at no additional cost to the Purchaser.
- Site Access and Safety: The Plumber and all personnel working under this Purchase Order must adhere to the site safety protocols of the Islamabad Municipal Housing Authority. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan, with the seat of arbitration in Pakistan Islamabad. The language of arbitration shall be English.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Purchaser shall pay for all work satisfactorily completed up to the date of termination.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, specifically applicable within the jurisdiction of Pakistan Islamabad.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this Purchase Order. The Plumber confirms that they possess all necessary licenses, qualifications, and insurance to perform the work described herein in Pakistan Islamabad.
