5.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from the execution of this Purchase Order shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Doha, Qatar.
5.2 The Plumber shall ensure that all work is performed in strict accordance with Qatar Doha municipal bylaws, Qatar Civil Defense regulations, and QSO standards. All materials used must carry valid QSO certification and be suitable for the climate conditions prevalent in Qatar Doha.
5.3 The Plumber is required to maintain a valid Qatar Civil Defense trade license and a minimum of three (3) certified technicians on-site during all working hours. Proof of insurance (third-party liability and workers' compensation) shall be submitted prior to commencing work.
5.4 Payment Terms: 30% advance upon acceptance of this Purchase Order; 40% upon completion of installation works and successful pressure testing; 30% upon final handover and submission of all as-built drawings and warranty certificates. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 2 within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice receipt.
5.5 The Plumber shall complete all installation and repair works within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. The quarterly maintenance visits shall commence no later than ninety (90) days from the date of issue.
5.6 A minimum warranty period of twenty-four (24) months shall apply to all installed fixtures, piping, and equipment. The Plumber shall respond to any warranty claims within forty-eight (48) hours of written notification.
5.7 The Plumber shall comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable in Qatar Doha, including proper disposal of construction waste and hazardous materials in accordance with Ministry of Environment guidelines.
5.8 This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement signed by authorized representatives of both parties. No verbal modifications shall be binding.
6. Acceptance and AuthorizationBy signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Plumber in Qatar Doha. This document constitutes a binding commercial agreement effective from the date of the last signature.
