- This Purchase Order is issued by Souchez & Fils Construction SARL for the engagement of DIAGNE & ASSOCIÉS PLOMBERIE SARL as the designated Plumber contractor for the residential development project located in Almadies, Dakar, Senegal. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order and the applicable Senegalese building and plumbing regulations.
- The Plumber contractor shall ensure that all materials used are of certified quality and comply with the standards set by the Senegalese Ministry of Public Works and the SDE water authority. Any non-conforming material shall be replaced at the contractor's own cost within 48 hours of notification.
- Work shall commence on 16 June 2025 and must be completed no later than 30 June 2025. The Plumber team shall maintain a minimum of 6 skilled plumbers on-site during all working days (Monday to Saturday, 07:00 to 17:00) to ensure timely completion.
- Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signing of this Purchase Order, 50% upon completion of all rough-in plumbing and successful pressure testing, and 20% upon final inspection, acceptance, and submission of all as-built documentation and warranty certificates.
- The Plumber contractor shall provide a minimum 24-month warranty on all workmanship and 12-month warranty on all installed materials. Any defects discovered within the warranty period shall be rectified at no additional cost to the purchaser.
- All work performed in Dakar, Senegal, shall comply with local labor laws, including the Senegalese Labor Code (Code du Travail), and the contractor shall ensure that all employees are properly registered with the CNSS (Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale).
- The contractor shall obtain all necessary permits from the Mairie de Dakar and the relevant district authority before commencing any work that affects public infrastructure, including the connection to the SDE municipal water and sewage network.
- In the event of a dispute arising from this Purchase Order, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through amicable negotiation. Should negotiation fail, the matter shall be submitted to the competent commercial court of Dakar, Senegal, in accordance with the Senegalese Code of Commerce.
- This Purchase Order is valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Acceptance must be confirmed in writing by the Plumber contractor within 5 business days.
