Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is issued by the Queensland Police Service, Brisbane City Division, and constitutes a binding procurement document under the Queensland Government Procurement Policy 2024. All items listed herein are for the standard operational issue of a Police Officer assigned to the Brisbane Central Precinct.
- The supplier, AusGuard Tactical Equipment Pty Ltd, acknowledges that all equipment supplied under this Purchase Order must meet the Australian Standards (AS/NZS) applicable to law enforcement equipment and must be certified for use by Police Officers in Queensland, Australia.
- Delivery of all items shall be made to the Brisbane Central Police Station, 100 Creek Street, Brisbane, QLD 4000, Australia, no later than 28 June 2025. Late delivery shall incur a penalty of 1.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
- All equipment must be new, unused, and in full working condition upon delivery. The Police Officer to whom the equipment is issued will conduct a full inspection and sign the Equipment Issue Register within 48 hours of receipt.
- Payment shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's nominated Australian bank account within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice, in accordance with Queensland Government payment processing procedures.
- The supplier warrants that all items supplied under this Purchase Order carry a minimum twelve (12) month manufacturer's warranty, transferable to the Queensland Police Service. Any defective items must be replaced at no additional cost within fourteen (14) days of notification.
- This Purchase Order is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). The supplier shall not disclose any operational details, Police Officer personal information, or Brisbane precinct-specific data to any third party without written authorisation from the Queensland Police Service.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, and the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Queensland, Brisbane.
- This Purchase Order may not be assigned or transferred by the supplier without the prior written consent of the Queensland Police Service, Brisbane City Division Procurement Unit.
- All communications regarding this Purchase Order shall be directed to the Procurement Unit, Queensland Police Service, Brisbane, via the contact details listed above. Verbal authorisations are not valid under this Purchase Order.
