Terms and Conditions of This Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is issued by the West Midlands Police Force for the procurement of equipment designated for a Police Officer operating within the metropolitan area of United Kingdom Birmingham. All items must conform to current Home Office and College of Policing standards.
- The supplier shall deliver all goods to the West Midlands Police Headquarters, 1000 Coventry Road, Birmingham, B9 5AA, United Kingdom, at the addresses and dates specified in the line items above. Late delivery beyond 5 working days shall incur a penalty of 2% of the affected line item value per day.
- Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of confirmed receipt and satisfactory inspection of all goods. Payment shall be made via BACS transfer to the supplier's nominated bank account in the United Kingdom.
- All equipment must be new, unused, and accompanied by manufacturer's warranty documentation. The ballistic vest and body-worn camera must carry valid UK certification marks. The Police Officer for whom this equipment is procured must be able to verify compliance prior to operational deployment in Birmingham.
- The supplier acknowledges that this Purchase Order relates to law enforcement equipment in the United Kingdom and agrees to comply with all provisions of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE), the Data Protection Act 2018, and applicable UK export control regulations.
- Any modifications, substitutions, or changes to the items listed in this Purchase Order must be approved in writing by the Procurement Officer, West Midlands Police, before production or dispatch. No verbal authorisations are valid.
- The supplier warrants that all goods are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a minimum period of 24 months from the date of delivery. The Police Officer assigned to use this equipment in Birmingham shall report any defects within 14 days of discovery.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom, with venue in Birmingham.
- The supplier shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding the nature, quantity, and destination of all law enforcement equipment supplied under this Purchase Order. No information relating to the Police Officer's deployment or operational details in United Kingdom Birmingham shall be disclosed to any third party.
- This Purchase Order becomes void if not accepted and signed by the supplier within 14 calendar days of the date of issue. Acceptance constitutes full agreement to all terms stated herein.
